Registration
Registration is CLOSED!
Singapore International Mathematics Contests Centre (Organizer of SASMO and SKMC) has just been appointed by Australian Mathematical Trust to administer the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) for Primary 3 to Junior College students.
The AMC has been held annually since 1978 and it is one of the internationally recognized math contests. The competition aims to be accessible to all students, not just the mathematically gifted. The AMC consists of five separate papers, each with 30 questions in the Middle Primary (Primary 3 and 4), Upper Primary (Primary 5 and 6), Junior (Secondary 1 and 2), Intermediate (Secondary 3 and 4) and Senior (Junior College 1 and 2) divisions. Over 1,000 students share the prizes and around 50% of participants qualify to receive a Certificate of High Distinction, Distinction or Credit. All other entrants in the competition receive a Certificate of Participation or a Proficiency Certificate. All students are also provided with a detailed report showing how they performed on each problem with wider statistical rankings.
