Terms and Conditions for SIMOC 2018

1) Singapore International Mathematics Olympiad Challenge (SIMOC) is organised, managed and administered by Singapore International Math Contests Centre (SIMCC).

2) By participating in SIMOC 2018, the candidate agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions set by SIMCC. SIMCC reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions from time to time, with the applicable version of the Terms and Conditions to be as that published on the following website: https://sasmo.sg/invitation/

3) SIMCC may in its absolute discretion and at any time refuse to allow entry for any candidate into SIMOC 2018, or withdraw any candidate without prior notice.

4) To be eligible to participate in SIMOC 2018, candidate must be a winner from SASMO 2018 (ie. Perfect Score, Gold, Silver or Bronze Award Winner from Singapore).

5) It is mandatory to join our June Holiday Workshop to prepare for SIMOC 2018. SASMO Team strongly believes that every participant should go through a training to be better equipped with higher level logical and analytical skills as they will be representing Singapore Team in an international competition. Candidate can select any 1 of the 4 weeks in the workshop schedule provided for respective levels.

6) Selection is based on First-come, First-serve basis, since the number of participants is limited to 250 students for SIMOC 2018.

7) For the 4-day June Holiday Workshop, SIMCC reserves the right to change the trainer or training location without prior notice.

8) In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), by participating in SIMOC 2018, the parent/ guardian of the candidate agrees to allow SIMCC to do photography and/or video-recording of their child at SIMOC 2017 from 7 to 8 July 2017 and give permission to SIMCC to use any materials in the photographs and/or video-recording for publicity of SIMOC and SIMCC, free of charge.

Terms and Conditions for IJMO 2018

  1. The organiser reserves the right to admit or refuse entry to any person at any time.
  2. The organiser reserves the right to request check of Student ID/Passport and Visa.
  3. The organiser reserves the right to charge for the amount of the full duration of package as reserved, for any cancellation of package done on or after 29th May 2018.
  4. Should there be a no-show for confirmed reservation; a charge for full package will be levied as no-show charge. Thereafter, the organiser reserves the exclusive right to release and resell the package.
  5. The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event program.
  6. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury sustained as a direct or indirect result of the IJMO 2018.
  7. IJMO organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury sustained that may have resulted from the activities during IJMO 2018.
  8. The Organiser shall have the final decision and reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

  11. By attending IJMO 2018, the attendees agree to the Terms and Conditions.
